"The hotel was excellent and reliable as we have gone here multiple times before. The room was good and well prepared especially since we were on a tight schedule to the airport. The staff were kind and also provided us with not only a shuttle bus to get to the airport on time but also food for the travel which was awesome since we didn't have time to eat at the buffet. Even if we didn't stay for long, the hotel is a nice resting place with the very decorative and fancy attire. I strongly recommend this hotel."

"Old-school, classic hotel full of heritage and history, a hidden gem in the hot area of Surabaya. It has friendly staff, good maintenance and very good breakfast. The things one may complain are also associated with the age of this hotel, for example, the rooms mostly have the only window at the entrance side due to the old buiding design, and the kids may find it slightly boring due to the lack of fun facilities usually found in modern hotels, but who can pass the opportunity to live where legends like Charlie Chaplin once stayed?"
