Excellent, helpful host. Location excellent, although noisy at night if the room faces any street. Rooms have character and old world charm. Daily service. While there is not a staffed desk, I found the host there every morning and afternoon. No breakfast, but yummy and friendly places nearby.

We stayed at B&B Aquille for 7 nights. We found checkin to be easy and were greeted with a warm welcome. The owner, Massimo and I believe his son (I am so sorry to have forgotten your name!), were the most kind and thoughtful hosts. Ada, the young woman who checked is in, was delightful and very helpful throughout our stay. The room was lovely and clean with high ceilings. Beds are comfortable and rooms were maintained regularly. Overall, it was a lovely place to stay. However, I do have to mention 2 things: 1. The Aquile calls itself a B&B, but there is no breakfast service. I did book the room based on location and took it for granted that breakfast of some kind would be included. Had I checked the details more closely, I would’ve seen that this was not the case. I feel that if you call yourself a B&B, people will assume breakfast is included, so future customers need to be aware of this. We were treated to coffees and pastries on 2 occasions. Gracie mille! 2. The location is on a very busy, noisy corner of the Via di Citta, and the hustle and bustle carries on into the late evening and starts up again in the early morning. There is a LOT going on and ear plugs are a must if you choose not to drown out the noise by closing windows up and turning on the A/C. The location is fantastic if being central to everything is important to you. And of course, we acknowledge that our hosts cannot control the sounds of the city. Thank you for everything, Heather

Our stay at B&B Le Aquile was wonderful. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The location couldn't be better - right next to the Campo, and one minute walk to the Duomo. The Hosts were amazing. Massimo shared his passion of Siena's history and culture with us, and gave us a special tour of ancient fresnos in his centuries old property. We appreciated his passion and his kindness. Ada was superwoman ! She helped us every day with direcions, transportation, restaurants and what to do and see in Siena. Ada is one of the best hosts we have ever had while travelling. Both of them made our six day stay in Siena very special. Highest reccomendation possible !

Basic but very comfortable room in unbeatable location steps from the Piazza and excellent restaurants. Massimo and staff are absolutely fantastic, incredibly helpful and friendly. Only downside is noise from room above and adjacent street, which at times was loud.

Overall we love Siena. The B & B had two problems 1) there is no B (breakfast) and 2) Parking/ access to is challenging to say the least.

The staff is very kind and helpful. The room was very comfortable, although the pillows were very thin and not very soft. The location is excellent within "Old Siena".

1A Lage aber nichts für leichten Schlaf. Das Personal ist umtriebig, hilfsbereit und unkompliziert. Die Tips sehr gut. Man fühlt sich irgendwie gleich zu Hause. Das Parkhaus kostet auch mit Hotel-Vergünstigung 25Euro am Tag und der Weg zum Hotel etwas ist umständlich. Aber für die Lage nimmt man das in Kauf.

This property is in the perfect location, if you want to be in the heart of Siena. It is 1 minute’s walk from the Piazza Del Campo, and 7 minutes from the Duomo. Step outside the front door and you are in the middle of beautiful streets, beautiful shops, wonderful history and lovely restaurants. The owners (Massimo and Andrea, father and son) are wonderful: incredibly friendly, helpful, very interesting, kind, and passionate about their beautiful city. Nothing is too much trouble. Our room was lovely, decorated in a traditional Tuscan style which we love. Fully air conned which you need after a day of pounding the paved streets. The bathroom was lovely too, with an AMAZING shower. When we return to Siena, we will definitely stay here again. You are made to feel so incredibly welcome. Thank you, Massimo and Andrea!

El punto perfecto para iniciar tu visita de Siena
Nos dieron instrucciones para la llegada con el coche, aparcar cerca una hora, nos gestionaron el permiso, y tras bajar el equipaje nos acompañaron al aparcamiento de pago. El sitio es perfecto en Siena. Toca subir escaleras, pero una vez estás en Siena todo son escaleras y cuestas en la ciudad. La habitación no era muy grande, pero la ubicación merece repetir. El personal super amable y dándonos todo tipo de información.

Personale gentilissimo e disponibile per qualsiasi info, la struttura è in pieno centro storico tra il duomo e il Campo, non c’è parcheggio in loco trovandosi in ZTL ma c’è possibilità di parcheggiare appena fuori dal centro e prendere un bus che porta a 5 minuti a piedi dal B&B. Camere abbastanza ampie e pulite. Dovessi tornare a Siena alloggerei di nuovo qui

Un endroit unique!!
Accueil très chaleureux, Emplacement inouï! Tout est à 2mn, en plein centre de cette magnifique ville. Jaccopo est un hôte qui pourrait être un excellent guide! Il faut juste savoir qu'ils ne font pas le petit dejeuner, mais avec ce qu'il y a à 50m à gauche ou à droite, no stress ;)

Il Campo a portata di mano
Posizione fantastica, letteralmente in pieno centro storico a pochi passi dal Campo. Stanza molto ampia e ben arredata con stile. Titolare di estrema simpatia e cortesia. Peccato non ci fosse la colazione disponibile. Per il resto, lo raccomando a tutti!

Un posto deve sentirsi a casa
Situato in pieno centro storico,abbiamo avuto la sensazione di essere accolti in casa di amici, confortevole e discreto. Il proprietario molto cordiale ed ospitale ci ha dato buoni suggerimenti per vivere al meglio questa fugace visita alla città. Ci dispiace per la vostra sorpresa del bagno fuori dalla stanza, ma nella vostra prenotazione era scritto che la camera aveva il bagno privato fuori dalla stanza. Con la speranza di riavervi presto nostri ospiti, vi salutiamo cordialmente.

The most perfect hotel for visiting Siena!
We absolutely loved our stay at B&B l’Aquile! This is the most perfect and convenient location for touring Siena. Our room was lovely and the bed was large and so comfortable. Our host Massimo was so welcoming and kind. He gave us great tips for seeing all the important sites in Siena and also gave us wonderful restaurant recommendations. I highly recommend B&B l’Aquile and this is the only hotel I will stay in when I return to Siena. Many thanks for the lovely accommodation!

A true gem! What a fabulous place - right in the heart of this gorgeous city. Owner was enthusiastic and very helpful with touring and eating suggestions. It will be even better when they get the breakfast going. Wish we had several more days here and will recommend to friends and family.

Per quanto riguarda i servizi, Il bagno fuori dalla stanza, almeno per quanto concerneva la nostra stanza, è stata una “sorpresa” poco piacevole ma ci si adatta comunque. Probabilmente anche una nostra svista nella prenotazione.

Ci dispiace per la vostra sorpresa del bagno fuori dalla stanza, ma nella vostra prenotazione era scritto che la camera aveva il bagno privato fuori dalla stanza. Massimo was a fabulous host! He helped us in every way with the most kind demeanor you could hope for. The location cannot be beat...right in the middle of the center of the historic district. Would stay here again.

Massimo was an excellent host. He was very accommodating and had excellent advice about where to go, what to eat, and what to see. The facility was newly renovated and clean. Excellent location.

Excellent stay and Maximo was an amazing host and even walked us around a bit! Make sure you pay attention to parking information before your stay.

MUST VISIT!
Massimo (the owner) and his family who runs this hotel are incredibly kind, generous, warm, and caring. On top of that our room was absolutely gorgeous and it had frescoes on the walls from the 1300s. My wife and I visited 21 different cities over the course of 18 days and out of all of the hotels we stayed in, this was easily number one. I can't say enough about how amazing this hotel was. If you are travelling to Siena, you have to stay here!

We had an exceptional stay at Le Aquile. The hosts, Massimo and Andrea, went above and beyond to help us settle in and enjoy Siena. We received excellent dining suggestions, tips for sightseeing, and assistance in securing a taxi. The facility is charming and very comfortable. I would highly recommend Le Aquile for your visit to Siena. I hope we will be able to stay here again in the future!!

Location exactly in the middle of the best shopping,, best restaurants, and most important tourist sites. My room just happened to be a completely new renovation within a very well preserved historic building. The bathroom fixtures and bedding were all new and of the highest quality. The owner, Massimo, is on site every day and reachable by phone during off hours, and he will advise as to best restaurants, etc.
