"We enjoyed a fabulous 4 nights at Hotel Colon. The staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. It was like staying with family! The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The air conditioning, fridge and large terrace were such a bonus given the heat. Breakfast was included and we ate very well every morning! The hotel is central and well positioned for everything Ronda has to offer. We are already planning a return trip to Ronda and wouldn't want to stay anywhere else."

"Nice hotel in a very good location. The pool area is lovely with a great view. Rooms are nice but pillows are awful. Took three requests to have them changed. In-room safe did not work and we asked three times for this to be rectified without success. Ironically there is a disclaimer in the room about not leaving valuables in the safe! Rooms at the front have a view of the bullring but it’s noisy in the morning, even though it’s a limited access road. This would be a problem for many...

"We were greeted with a complimentary drink on arrival which was very welcome after a flight delay of an hour and a half! Smiling and helpful staff at reception and made us feel very confident we’d be taken care of. Only very slight niggle in room was lack of drawer space but other than that beds comfy and little chocolates left on pillows a lovely touch also the complimentary toiletries in the bathroom and shower room. "I had a wonderful 3 day stay at the Benalma. The staff are warm and helpful—especially Ionela at the restaurant and Carolina at the front desk. The location is lovely, although it is about an hour walk from the downtown section of Benalmadena. If you want strictly rest and relaxation, this the place. My room was beautiful and comfortable, but with a fantastic balcony and view of the sea. It’s about a mile from the train station so you can take the train directly from the airport. I recommend...
