"Unsure how this hostel has such high ratings. Room was hot, stuffy and smelt like mould with no ventilation. Bathrooms werent cleaned frequently and staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. Only positive was the location."

"Very good location near the stations of Sol and Opera. Gran Via and Callao are also walking distance depending on your appetite for walking. The main museums are very close within 10-15 min walking distance and there are lots of good places to eat around there with a lot of variety and various cuisines and types. The hostel itself is good. Cleaning staff come daily. Air conditioning is good and very necessary even in June. They do their best to age match guests for mixed dorms. Breakfast is...
