I paid 72 GBP for one night in a junior suite which was probably fair but the list price of 160 Euros is way too high. The 5 star rating I assume is due to the spa facilities rather than the overall offering. Couldn’t fault the staff or location but the hotel itself is looking tired and dated.

Very nice hotel... Clean and comfortable... Staff was friendly and helpful even though we struggled at times communicating with my American English, they were very patient and we figured it out... I would definitely stay here again...

Very pretty and unique architecture. It was also extremely clean. We would have appreciated a note in the room mentioning the price of the two small bottles of water in the room as they were 24 lei.

This is not a 5 star hotel. The rooms are really dated and beds are not comfortable. The steam room isn’t hot and the towels in the rooms barely fit around an adult. The staff were friendly and helpful on the positive side

A very nice property with pleasant staff in a quiet area close to the old town. The issue is the elevator. Every time the elevator is used there is an extremely loud ‘clack’ which is audible in the halls and rooms, even on the 4th floor which does not have elevator access. The upside is you’ll never sleep through breakfast, at 7am the constant clacking loudly announces the breakfast rush. Otherwise this is a good choice near the citadel.

Great hotel in convenient and quiet location. Walk into town in two minutes. Lovely rooms which were comfortable and big. Separate toilet to bathroom. Lovely and kind staff. Great value for money.

Extortionately charging for 0,3 litre of water will not make you rich providing it free will not make you poor as well, but some way weary customers who have been subjected to the receptionists wrath may look kinder on your establishment. . Smiling is an asset your customers are not your enemies.

The hotel’s location was excellent, and both the service and hospitality were very good. We were traveling with children, and they welcomed us very warmly. As mentioned in other reviews, the facilities are somewhat old-fashioned, but they are well maintained. In fact, they matched the atmosphere of the town and felt like something out of a fairy tale. The parking was easy, and it was convenient to walk to the city center. There was no complimentary bottled water, so if you prefer to avoid using the minibar water, I recommend buying it at a nearby Profi supermarket (about a 5-minute walk away). Considering the balance between price and service, this was a very cost-effective hotel.
