Suresh looked after us during our stay & was very helpful . We would have liked to see a small refrigerator in our room & tea/coffee facilities however Suresh was very happy to place our wine in their fridge & serve it on request , he also bought us a pot of tea every morning . "Loved our 3 days at Taru Villas. Beautiful, quiet boutique hotel on a fabulous beach. The staff made the hotel feel like home -they were exceptional. Particular shout out to Pramodya who made us very welcome, and to Sam who went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. Restaurant was also excellent!"

"Kleines famiiengeführtes Hotel ( ein Bungalow, ein großes Familienzimmer) mit kleinem Restaurant mit toller Aussicht auf das Meer direkt an der wundervollen Bucht von Unakuruwa, die sehr gut zum Schwimmen und zum Surfen geeignet ist. Die übergroße Herzlichkeit und die Natürlichkeit der Betreiberfamilie lässt über Ausstattung der Zimmer hinwegsehen. Der größere Bungalow hat eine schöne Terrasse. Es ist eher ein Homestay als ein Hotel. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt."

"Family were beautiful and accommodating The house is great and perfect for a long term stay Shops a restaurants are around a 15 minute walk away but once you start walking you are likely to walk pas a free tuk tuk you can jump in I stayed with my 3 year old daughter and it was perfect Pool is great, house facilities are great. "The Cabanas was very spacious and nice. There is NO hot water for a shower which is not mentioned in the posting. There is not a separate "sitting area." The cabana is in a beautiful setting but you have to take a Tuk Tuk to town. It is next door to a restaurant. The breakfast is the traditional Sri Lankan Breakfast. Please note that they do not accept credit cards (which is poor) so you have to pay in local currency."
