Just off the interstate in Mount Vernon. Older, remodeled, clean, well-maintained, functional motel. Rooms open to the parking lot. Upstairs rooms are only accessible by stairs, no elevator.
The adjacent restaurant is closed, it appears to be under renovation. A coffee shop is a block away, as is Dairy Queen.
Breakfast was sparse. A waffle maker was the only "hot" food. No protein eggs or meat. They did offer yogurt, banana, muffin, juice and coffee.
