"When we walked in the room also smelled. The bathroom was not very clean, the walls and the paper was peeling off. In the shower there were hairs from other guests."

"The facilities are modern and kept clean. Our granddaughter enjoyed the pool multiple times. Breakfast was good with choices of scrambled eggs, toast or muffins or bagels. The ham was delicious, too. We enjoyed our stay since the location was convenient to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial and Custer State Park as well as the airport."

"Nice stop after seeing Mount Rushmore. The beds were comfortable and the shower was good. It was long time to get the water hot but once it was, it was great. Not a fan of the pillows, noisy a/c or the spotty wifi but we streamed the world cup on our devices and enjoyed a beer on the bar deck. Seemed like a great place for families with playground & pool."

The furniture in the lobby was in poor shape and needs replacing as the some of the chairs were about to fall apart. Room was clean and housekeeping did a fantastic job providing items needed. Breakfast was decent."

"The pool was disgusting and had dirt and sand all over the bottom, the room was dirty and had drywall dust all over the place, including the AC vents which would have sprayed out all over the room if we’d turned it on. Toilet overflowed and the first staff member I spoke with was extremely rude. We had to find a plunger on a random cleaning cart to attempt to fix the problem ourselves, and it took 45 minutes before anyone showed up. "Good price. Limited amenities, stayed at cleaner hotels, needs some maintenance, but a very friendly and helpful staff."

"The room was very dated but clean the tub in our room had very poor drainage. Pool was to cold to try hot tub was OK but damn people don't watch there kids anymore and staff don't make people follow rules of facility. For those who don't know the 5 minute palk is down hill then back up so if you are thinking about walking just know downhill might be great but going up sucks."

"The deposit situation is inconvenient but understandable! The pool was fine, it was cold. They do not have a hot tub any longer, it’s cemented up so the photos there are wrong. The room was clean, but a couple of people in our group woke up with bug bites, however, we did not check before going to bed because we thought the place seemed clean so that was an error on our part. I’d recommend checking the beds thoroughly if you’re going to stay here, and anticipate having to pay a $100 deposit at...
