"This was the coolest place we stayed in during our entire trip. The room had everything we needed & had some very fun surprises built in as well. The wind was super strong during our stay but we still slept soundly. It’s about 30 minutes outside of Selfoss, but it is absolutely worth the stay. The northern lights viewing space at the top of the tower is incredible! It’s quiet, cozy & has seating all around. "This hotel was incredible. The restaurant was delicious and a lot of the food is cooked in their Geothermal oven. We had a beautiful room that overlooked the river. Beds were comfy and we loved the hot tub. The only thing to note, is there is a strong sulfur smell in the rooms, but it didn’t bother us that much. After a while you get used to it ."

"Pros: Secluded and quiet. Functional Cons: It's basically a tiny house set down in a parking lot with a view of nothing. Fine for one night but would not recommend for anything longer."

Die Wohnung ist hervorragend ausgestattet, liegt in einer schönen, ruhigen Umgebung und der Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus war für uns besonders praktisch. Auch die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war ausgezeichnet – stets freundlich, aufmerksam und angenehm. Besonders begeistert waren wir außerdem von der Sauna, dem Dampfbad und dem Hot-Tub, die unseren Aufenthalt noch entspannender...

"The town was quaint. The hotel was clean and mostly updated. The Geothermal pool was my favorite part. The stay at this hotel could’ve been better if the beds were comfortable. The mattresses were hard and similar to military dorm beds. I’m hoping with the new reservations that was happening while I was there that would be one of the things this hotel would update. The front desk staff was personable and full of knowledge as far as where to explore in the area. "
