"This is an excellent guesthouse with fully stocked kitchen, coffee, and large rooms with private bathroom. Check in was easy, using a code. Our only issue was that there were no restaurants open in town and we had to drive to the next town to eat. There is a supermarket in town with plenty of items, open from 9am-6pm. We enjoyed our stay very much."

"The property is beside the sea, with Mount Kirkjufell as the background. We caught one of the best sunsets of the trip there. 5 minutes drive to the Viewpoint of Mount Kirkjufell Waterfall. The grocery store in the town does not have many varieties of supplies and closes too early."

"Beautiful property but deceptive pictures. Shows a wonderful spa but nowhere on Expedia did it say spa was $4500 ISK p/person extra. Nice restaurant and bar. Room clean and great view of the sea. Nothing to do in this small town unless puffins are still there (thru mid August) and it's 45 min in and out from main road. If it's not puffin season, don't stay here unless you want to relax and stare and the view."

The only issue we had, which other guests arriving at the same time also experienced, was gaining access to the property and our room. Access is managed through a website using a code sent by email.
