The rooms were very clean and comfortable, And the staff at check-in was gracious and friendly. I felt slightly insecure that there was no secondary lock system on the room doors. The great room was convenient but not cleaned every day. we were there for three nights and by the time we left the garbage in the great room rather smelled as it had not been emptied the whole time we were there.

It was very nice and appropriate for the price. There isn’t much to do at night however, since you can’t order movies and the cable is limited. That would be nice or installing dvd players so you can go rent something as a way to pass time. Not really any area around the property which is why I gave 3 stars, however you’re allowed to visit the other linked property which is beautiful.

Great location if you want quiet & access to Mirbeau Inn & Spa. Most people would need to use their car to get to the lake/main area of Skaneateles where you would find most restaurants and shopping.

The Lodge was perfect for a fall getaway! We were able to enjoy the patio with a glass of wine, then easily walk in to Skaneatles for shopping and dinner. The Lodge was clean and comfortable with an Adirondack vibe. We will return.

Great Place!
This was a last minute trip and it turned out to be very enjoyable. Finger Lakes Lodging was a great place to stay. It was very clean, roomy for the two of us and very friendly check-in personnel and cleaning staff. We definitely would stay here again.

The staff was incredibly sweet. The lodging however reminds me of Uncle Buck. I was waiting for John Candy to walk out of the place at any moment. It was incredibly tiny, but worked for an overnight stay. The toilet was about 12" high, so you literally have to fall down to the seat. Overall, it has the feel of an outdated motor-home from the 70's, but again, it works for a cheap overnight stay.

Noisy and overpriced
Skaneateles is an adorable town. We have been there previously and loved it. Our experience at Finger Lakes Lodging (FLL) was disappointing, to say the least. One has to check in at Mirbeau Resort and Spa across the road. There is no staff on site at the FLL. God forbid you lock yourself out at night, worse if your car keys are in your locked room. Though I had made the reservation indicating that we were traveling with a dog, I was not only told the room that was reserved was not a “dog room”, but that there was an additional $75 charge, plus tax…over $80. I was also told that dog rooms had queen size beds, not king size beds. Seem counterintuitive but, whatever. The room we were given was tiny, with no room for a dog bed. The room was cute and rustic, but TINY. Additionally, the room we were given was the closest to the extremely busy highway. We did not sleep well. There were only 2 or three other guests in the entire property, so one has to assume that there were other, quieter rooms available. Because we could barely turn around in the room, we spent most of our time in the Great Room in the middle of the structure. It was lovely. However, the fireplace would night light. Again, there is no staff on site. The entire stay, which, thankfully, was only one night, was mostly unpleasant. It was our first time there and we won’t stay there again. I cannot recommend.

We are very sorry your experience did not live up to your expectations and we appreciate your feedback.Our pet rooms have been designated to be on the right wing of the property as recently, the hotel open just a few rooms to be pet friendly.Skaneateles is a quiet and safe town that is constantly patrolled by the local police department to keep the safety of residents and visitors.We hope to see you again and thank you for sharing your thoughts with us.

This property was cute, quiet and clean but check in was off premises. We had to drive to another hotel/spa and do the check in at the restaurant’s front desk then get back in our car and go to our room.
