"On arrival you are confronted with building work around the main entrance and a very tired looking reception. (July 2026)
The rooms are basic relatively clean but bathroom in our room was tiny. If you have long legs you will never be able to use the toilet comfortably because the shower cubicle is approximately 18 inches from the pan.
The bathroom smells of damp and the toilet paper is thinner than Bronco.
Only one charger plug socket by the desk nothing near the bed.
We paid for a sea view...

"The room was clean and well presented in a pretty idyllic location. Quite and not very looked.
Local pud was within a 10 minute walk and they served great food. The pud overlooked a river and in the summer months there seating available to be able to sit along side the river.
We were provided with tea, coffee and biscuits.
We had use of a mini fridge within the room, we’re we could store refrigerated snacks.
The Host lady was very friendly she was helpful and made our stay relaxed.

"Our stay at Y Cartws was lovely and relaxing, very cosy cottage. Was amazing to walk the ground and interact with the goats and horses. The nearby river was very relaxing to listen to, especially in the hot tub at night. Hot tub is at a set temperature which cannot be adjusted.
Amenities were great, kitchen is well stocked with utensils and had delicious home made brownies waiting for us.
Property was mostly clean but there was some negatives, bathroom was either mouldy or mould stained....
