"We arrived a week before derby in hopes of checking off a large bucket list. The historical Galt House was part of that for me. Our room was halfway clean as evidenced by previous patron’s hair in the bathroom and nail clippings beside the bed. The marijuana smell flowing down the hall was accompanied by non-stop pounding music. The front desk was notified several times without anyone ever coming up to stop the incessant partying. "It was a very pleasant stay. Up until 100 kids showed up on Saturday night. We checked out on Sunday morning so it wasn't a big deal. The staff were fantastic. The breakfast was simple, but had a decent selection. The rooms were clean and welcoming. No issues with parking at all."

"Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. From the outside didn’t look anything special, more like a 2 star hotel. Inside was very clean, staff was extremely helpful, positive, with a constant smile on their face, ready to help in any moment. My stay was during the Kentucky derby and even though the hotel was full, staff was still friendly. Breakfast was fresh and tasty and the room was very clean. Great place."
