"Platzl Hotel was a good choice for our party of four on holiday. One of its greatest assets is its location. The property needs a refresh, and amenities like electrical outlets at bedside need to be installed. The multi-lingual staff were friendly without fawning. The rooftop is loud and smokey. If you're a nonsmoker, this is not a pleasant space to grab a drink. The hotel serves breakfast, but it is 20 Euros per person unless you made sure to include it in your reservation. More importantly, the variety of items is relatively limited. However, the property is quite dated and the room I was assigned had shag carpeting. The shower was also quite small and not sure how a large person would be able to access it in such a small space.
