"Lovely place, just off a main road so a handy break in my trip from Poprad Tatry Airport to Hlinne. Staff were friendly and helpful - and they spoke English, which was a definite advantage for me. They also have English menus. My previous stay, somewhere with no English menus or speakers, wasn't pleasant, but this stay was. Before anyone comments. I was in their country so they didn't have to speak English or have English menus - but it helps. "

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this establishment. I didn’t know it when I booked the room that there was going to be the annual marathon. I was able to see it from my balcony and sit there and taking many photos. The staff was very helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast. The shower was an ample size and the water flow was excellent. One of the main enjoyable things was its location. "I stayed at Hotel Carpe Diem for nine nights. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and quiet, the breakfast options were good, and it is a short walk to all the attractions in the old town. Highly recommend. "
