"Cleanliness was tops. Distance to Heathrow and ease of shuttle to the airport were great, but we expected it to be free. When we called to book, and ask about a shuttle, we found out it was available, but no one mentioned a per person fee....we had spent all our pounds so we wouldn't take any home to the states, and the driver didn't have change for a 20pound note, so we had to use a debit card. Minor annoyance, but..."

"Nice refurbished old hotel with good parking. Check-in staff were excellent. The common areas were well maintained although in a few places paint was showing a little wear in the stairs to the courtyard rooms. The room was an old style room but well repurposed, everything was well cleaned. The bathroom was new and excellently maintained with everything working well and the water nice and hot. The spa, gym and pool were well equipped, although in an unusual configuration- steam room and sauna are through the gym not near the pool. You have to book for the pool, I think it is restricted to 4 people at a time, due to the size, but large enough for good exercise. The breakfast was nice with a good selection of hot and cold food. Definitely will stay here again."
