The breakfast was also quite good. Like FRENCH GOOD :-).
The owner treated us like family.

"2 night stay to explore the area on our way back to the ferry. Too far to walk to restaurants etc. Lots to see and do within easy reach. Hosts very pleasant. Breakfast was good- very French, no cereal or cooked items. "

"The nature around, especially the beach and the dune, are breathtaking. The aquaclub and other activities are great. But the resort needs renovation in some places and more emphasis on cleanliness."
"Despite the booking confirmation saying check-in was open until 1900, we arrived at 1615 only to find it shut until 1800 - duh - nearly every other hotel I've stayed in welcomes guests from 1500 at the earliest...to compound the problem, I received a text from the hotel the evening after we had left telling us what the check-in times were!
Nevertheless, we were pleased with the large room (17 - at the back - luckily away from the Saturday night live band on the beach opposite) with good...

One downside the toilet cistern wouldn’t stop all night!!😢 also horrid smell from the loo.. (reported to receptionist- didn’t seem to concerned!
Also €25 for a buffet breakfast was a tap expensive "
"Endroit idéal pour se ressourcer, l'hôte est vraiment attentionnée et fera le nécessaire pour rendre votre séjour agréable. Concernant le bruit signalé par certains, en effet il est possible d'entendre les autres hôtes mais cela est tout à fait supportable !"
"Very quirky property, traditional French style in middle of St Valery with everything this beautiful town has to offer on the doorstep. Public parking available on the road just up from hotel. We stayed in Lawrence of Arabia suite which was interesting. Room to spread out in living area. Breakfasts are fantastic, with lovely fresh produce. Lovely host. "
