"Overall I would recommend a stay at Ella Ridge View but with a few caveats. It is a tucked away down a narrow road and a bit rough around the edges. We stayed in a room in the older building — and it wasn’t super clean. If you’re willing to look past that you will be rewarded with the best breakfast and best views. There is a family that lives on the ground floor and the staff are all very accommodating. "

"der Inhaber war freundlich aber die Unterkunft ist nicht zu empfehlen. Alles etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Toilette mussten wir erst putzen bevor wir sie nutzen konnten. In den drei Tagen wo wir da waren hat niemand geputzt."

"Disappointed that Expedia don't check the facilties claimed.
There is no bar, despite the listing. As the hotel is some distance from town, it would have affected my decision to stay there.
As everywhere in Sri-Lanka, the staff are friendly and helpful but the place feels a little tired and small things such as no bedside lighting are an inconvenience."
