"This is my first time leaving a bad review, but I feel it is necessary. When we checked in, the two male receptionists did not provide good customer service. However, the two ladies working on Saturday were very sweet and friendly.
I reserved my rooms three months in advance, but they still placed our two rooms on separate floors. Unfortunately, the room I received was extremely dusty. The excuse given was that it might have been caused by the air conditioning, but there is no reason a room should be left that dusty for so long.
The hand towels were old and dirty, and I took pictures showing how dusty the room was. There was dust on the lamps, on top of the coffee maker, on the drawer handles, and even in the restroom fan. It was horrible. I have severe allergies and asthma, so the room should have been properly cleaned before our arrival.
The hotel is also far from the University of San Diego, and there were many homeless people around the area. Unfortunately, I will not stay here again."
