"Unfortunately, our stay at the Milagro Hotel was very disappointing, especially for the amount paid. The room did not feel well maintained at all. The shower had no curtain, the towels felt rough like sandpaper, and the water never got properly hot — only lukewarm. The refrigerator also had a terrible odor, like an old deli sandwich had been left in there for days.
What made the experience even worse was what happened after checkout. I accidentally left my medicine bag with my vials inside the refrigerator and called immediately asking if they could overnight it to my next location. The young woman who answered stated they “don’t do that” and that the hotel is “not liable” for anything left behind. When I politely asked to speak with a manager, I was told no manager would be available for days.
I understand hotels have policies, but basic customer service and empathy go a long way. Very disappointing experience overall."
