"Beautiful property, and the staff went out of their way to help. The high st facing room was a little noisy at night as we stayed on a weekend but would stay again!"

"Warders cottages are quaint as they are heritage but not suitable for families with younger children as the bunk beds are very high and the hotel bar is literally right outside your door where there’s loud music playing till 11+pm. There should be a noise warning for this particular room. Floorboards are also original and creaky so it’s not great if you’re sensitive to sounds at night."

"Nice little ancient building with all the charm of a tavern of old but well maintained. Budget friendly yet decent accomodation with updated interiors and good clean rooms. You are attended to as soon as you enter the premises by any staff available. Comfortable and great location. Inhouse parking available which saves you heaps. "Mother and adult daughter had an excellent stay at this property. The suite was exactly what we needed after a two week long road trip across Australia. The staff was the most welcoming and friendly we have ever experienced. Breakfast was perfect and the evening social hour was a very nice addition."

"Large room with a balcony we couldn’t use due to weather but helpful because the windows are single pane and the road noise is high. Large shower with separate tub. There is a mini fridge and kettle for instant coffee or tea. The closet comes with four attached hangers but they will bring more if you ask. Not sure how the allocation of towels works but we had to ask to have facecloths delivered. No bar soap for the shower but attached liquid bath gel, shampoo & conditioner. There’s a guest...
