Hotel dekat South of the James Market

"For starters, they asked me for a $50 deposit when it’s not even on the site so I did it and when I checked out, they gave me a refund for 4750 on my debit card when I checked my account was on there when I went back today, they took it. The rooms are filthy. The bed look like someone has slept in it and they just made it up it was stained the washcloths and towels are stained. The room wasn’t clean and not to mention the carpet in the bathroom and nail sticking out of it do not go to this...

Shower faucet was pretty loose, parking was non existent, they served instant coffee in the rooms, and water tasted like algae. Other than that it was great. Neat room. Staff were wonderfully helpful. I didn't eat there so I cant speak on the food."

"Parking was a little tricky, though there was a parking structure around the corner for us by the hotel guests. The unloading zone was a bit confusing. You are able to park in front of the hotel for 30 minutes if needed."

"We loved everything about the Jefferson except for one thing. We would have liked a mat in the shower to keep it from being so slippery. But we were very happy to have a walk in shower. The room and bed were very comfortable. The place is really beautiful and the service and food in the restaurant were wonderful. We would definitely return."

"My husband and I came to this hotel after leaving another due to the cleanliness (or lack thereof) of another. It was a breath of fresh air. The elevator even smelled better. Room was clean. Bathroom was clean. Cute little Bluey stickers or the toilet paper and tissues (we don't even have kids and we thought it was cute). The shower was huge and really nice. Definitely wish we would've stayed here both of our nights in VA."

"Everything was excellent. Breakfast was varied and fresh. Social hour on Wed with complimentary wine and appetizers was a pleasant addition to our stay. Very clean room and quiet parking is easily accessible but $25 a night. Would stay here again. It’s downtown"
