"We were very pleasantly surprised to learn our 1 room family suite had 2 separate bedrooms. Beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was nice. Only issues were that we only had 1 key which made it tricky every time we went separate places. Also there was an illuminated exit sign in the king bedroom we had to cover up it was so bright, and when others shut their doors it would thump ours. Loved the skylights, was a bit stuffy but those helped. Loved the breakfast!"

"I’ve stayed here each time I’ve come to Scotland. The only hotel I’ve stayed in more than once. You’re central to just about anywhere you’d like to go in the area. The folks who work there are the best of the best. Rooms are clean, all appliances work, bathrooms are huge, big windows, a fabulous bath & water pressure to write home about. Cannot recommend highly enough!"

The bathroom was well equipped and breakfast was good. I might have been the only guest so it was very quiet - but very convenient to the ferry terminal just 7 miles away."

Hotel is next to a pub so had dinner there with was good"
