"Hands down the nicest hotel property we have stayed in at the Florida panhandle. We recommend the hotel option where the rooms and common areas are in the same category as the Sanctuary at Kiawah Island. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and the food was great. The beach is a short walk away, and the pools are beautiful. "Our 2 star rating reflects our kichen area with no dishes or utensils. I asked the front desk. “We don’t supply them. I can get you a couple of sets of plastic ones. There was only one wire trash can for 3 rooms. Again, reflected by rating. We tipped housecleaning well. They weren’t to blame. The breakfast served mostly fatty and way undercooked bacon on one day. Toast would barely brown after multiple passes through its inadequate toaster. A radical disappointment from our usual Marriott stays."
