"We tried to cancel our reservation due to an issue with our travel plans but we did wind up making it to Boise around midnight. We booked this hotel because it allowed dogs and had ample parking for a moving truck.
When we arrived just after midnight there wasn’t any parking available and since I wasn’t sure if our cancellation was accepted or not we tried a nearby hotel that did have parking.

"I received a room that wreaked of cigarette smell. I immediately notified the front desk and he walked over to confirm. I was only staying one night, so I kept the room and didn't make a fuss. It was a first floor room which was a convenience with all the luggage and small children. But I should've made a fuss and changed room. I was tired. Maybe front desk should've immediately offered me another room."
