"Big spacious room that actually fit all five of us and was super clean. The beds were so comfortable I slept like a baby. Microwave and fridge. The pool is very nice. Would highly recommend and will definitely be staying here again when we go out this way."

"An old, classy hotel. Don’t know about the other rooms, but ours was small as such hotels often offer. Staff was exceptionally helpful. Both restaurants were great. Had a strange problem on our last morning where both hot and cold water in the bathroom were running scalding hot. The engineer had to come and “drain the system“ in order for us to take normal showers. Apparently something that can happen on very hot days for a certain group of rooms. Other than that, a very nice day."

"Like: convenient to train station and walking distance to downtown for dining, nice view of the river. Good shower water pressure and temperature. Dislike: property is old and needs updating. Rooms need renovation, including new mattresses and bedding, room darkening window shades/treatments. Closet was small and only half height (daughter’s dress pants couldn’t hang without laying on the bottom) and no iron/ironing board. Has a pool but was still covered at the end of June."

"Everything was fine. Used to stay here a lot, but lately the price has gotten kind of ridiculous. Plenty of other places to stay as nice at a lower rate."

"I booked the least expensive room for $68 later in the evening. When I arrived, the Desk person evidently had booked the last of those rooms to someone else. He said there were no such rooms available and gave me a double room which I did not need charged me nearly $20 more after taxes. He gave me the option of not staying there, but I had already driven 20 minutes out of my way for the less expensive room good busy practices as well as common decency dictate that he charged me the lower price,...

"The area around the small fridge was clearly not vacuumed. The corners of the room were obviously dirty. The rug smelled."

"Room was clean but the tv selections were limited, the walls thin and the AC very noisy. The staff were outstanding and helped me recover some personal items we left behind quickly and efficiently. The breakfast was simple, but good."
