"First time staying in a hostel and it was great. Staff were so friendly and gave a tour of the kitchen and lounge areas. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and it was nice to have your own little pod vs having a little bunk bed. Only stayed for one night so didn't use the kitchen but they provide tea and coffee and even have a free food section of assorted things that people have left behind. A block or two from the main area of Queenstown but I preferred this since it kept the noise of the bars...

"Good studio room for two people with all the needed amenities inside except the shared bathroom part which was outside the room premises in the main building which was a bit inconvenient. Great location nearby to Queenstown center. Overall good value was money!"

"Black sheep is a friendly, well-maintained and very professional outfit, offering a great facility for budget-conscious travellers. The location is excellent but parking is a hassle as it is on-street. The best time to find a space is around 5.00 p.m. The staff are delightful and the beds are very comfortable. I would definitely come back."
