"Location was great, right next to the pier for Gordon River Cruise and parking provided during the cruise period after check out. The bistro served great food and highly recommended. Some hiccups during check in about the room location and bistro reservation but were eventually solved."

"Beautiful part of the state, the simplicity of the accommodation blended with the beautiful countryside. The sauna was a treat, and food at Maydena Eats was delicious. WiFi instructions were wrong (maybe outdated?) and shower floors and bedroom corners had been overlooked— fixable things. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

" I liked the location of the property being close to places within walking distance like the Wilderness railway. The room was neat and tidy and was generally quiet during my four-night stay. My only frustration was with the tv in the room as many a time the 'no signal' message popped up. Other than that it is a nice place to stay, and I enjoyed a Sunday dinner in their restaurant. "

"Well located to Mt Fields. It is a Large 2 BR even if we only needed 1. Very dated, poorly maintained, and dirty. Kitchen cabinets and cutlery drawer dirty. We had to wash dishes we were going to use. We decided not to cook so as not to have to wash everything. There was only one wine glass and when my partner washed it, he cut his hand and we had to bandage it. "Ok this is an old building and we should appreciate that. The room facilities were basic (the shower head leaked reducing pressure, one electrical blanket did not work and the general cleaning could be better) we thought that the continental breakfast layout could be better to reduce congestion. The breakfast was toast, cereal and limited fruit. Tea and coffee was available. The location was excellent over the road from the railway. The staircase is magnificent . "What a great spot. It’s been a while since we stayed at a B&B so we were not sure what we would experience. The owner was great, personal, friendly and with a lot of great tips about the area. Room was clean and well organised, with a well-stocked minibar. The rest of the house was also well-kept and clean and the outside area was definitely the highlight with a Chimea, a paddock full of sheep and a nice little walk down to the river. "Went in with low expectations, but it turned out to be a pleasant stay for the price. The amenities were good, especially the inclusion of a small kitchen which made things quite convenient.
