"Marriott bought this a few months ago, but it has not been renovated yet. The photos were somewhat deceiving. Our stay was fine, but we expecting much more. Breakfast was good, but limited in offerings due to small breakfast area. We stayed four nights and if we wanted housekeeping, we had to ask for it. The view however was quite nice, as all rooms face the Umpqua River."

"Room wasn’t ready until 5pm. Room had an awful smell. AC was very loud. Mattresses were worn out. Found dog hair on the bathroom floor. Breakfast was not good. No fresh fruit, potatoes overcooked. I would not recommend this place. I chose it because the reviews looked good. Don’t believe the good reviews."

"Staff were very friendly and it was a good location, but that’s about the only two positives. Our key card and door lock were faulty and we heard a number of other guests having the same problem- cards weren’t working even after asking for them to be redone multiple times, took several tries to get into our room whenever we came and went. Pool was freezing cold, braved it since our littles were so excited to swim. Then when we tried the hot tub it seemed overly hot and murky. We tried going in...

"It is a beautiful home, the accommodations the best. Nothing could be better. The hosts were wonderful. I highly recommend staying there. I had the Melton room with a sun room and fireplace."
