"The staff were great in every way. Why are there no microwave ovens in the rooms? I read there was a common area in the hotel where there was a microwave. That is no longer true."

"My hotel room smelled like an ashtray. The man at the front desk did not seem to care when I walked all the way back down and he was not very helpful. He told me “the best I can do is change you to another room, but I can’t guarantee that room will not also smell like cigarettes too.” Poor service and no proactive solutions or basic problem solving. He did not represent Peppermill Resort well. Sadly my asthma got really bad the first day because of this and I had to use my inhaler several times to be able to breathe. Lisa in room service was AMaZING!!!! So friendly, caring, above and beyond, thoughtful, and certainly made the experience memorable even through our brief interaction. Kiya (massage therapist) in the spa was great as well! I got a massage and relaxed in the spa the rest of the day and that was great!"

"Review: Motel 6 Reno - Airport Sparks **Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2.5/5)** My recent stay at the Motel 6 near the Sparks airport was a mixed bag, leaning toward disappointing due to the service and aging infrastructure. While it serves the basic purpose of a place to sleep, several areas need immediate attention. **Service & Check-In** The first impression was poor. The young woman at the front desk was notably rude; there was no greeting upon arrival, and she remained silent even after I thanked her. A little hospitality goes a long way, and unfortunately, it was non-existent here. **The Room & Amenities** * **Cleanliness:** On the bright side, the bed and linens were clean, which is the bare minimum but appreciated. * **Atmosphere:** The room itself felt dated. There was a heavy, lingering smell of old smoke that made the space feel uninviting. * **Electrical:** This was a major frustration—the outlets are so worn out that they **will not hold a plug**. They are loose and desperately need to be replaced for safety and functionality. * **Climate Control:** The wall AC/heating unit was a highlight; it worked perfectly and kept the room at a comfortable temperature. **Bathroom Quality** The bathroom needs a renovation. The sinks have very poor water flow, and the shower is quite old with lackluster water pressure. It’s functional, but far from a refreshing experience. "

"The room was clean and staff great! But we booked a room with a King bed. The room we were given had a queen bed. I would of requested a room in back of hotel because the noise from highway is very loud in the early morning hours disrupting sleep."

"Great place compared to other similar hotels. Made for people with longer stays for work, not a high frills place but is clean and everything works. I would stay again. "
