"The accommodation was good but what annoyed me is we tried to turn the tv and heating on (its winter in Chch) and there was no power to either. We looked everywhere for instructions but there was none. Very disappointed, we rugged up on a very cold night and went to sleep. Next morning I told the staff how we had to endure a freezing night and no tv. She was very rude and just said “you have to put your credit card in the slot”. Then proceded to ignore me. "The staff were courteous. The loo was blocked, the bed was blood soiled (not noted till waking in the morning) and the walls in the bathroom rotten. The light was not sufficient for anything other than ambiance. Drinking water to be sourced from same area as human waste. Lovely shower. The fridge identified as a freezer and froze the contents before morning. Likely won’t stay again."

"Overall we had a good stay at the motel. The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the location was convenient. Most parts of the experience were smooth and enjoyable.
The only major issue was the airport shuttle service. We paid $15 to book the 6am shuttle to the airport, but it never arrived. We waited until 6:30am with no communication or update from the motel. In the end, we had to book an Uber ourselves for a very similar price just to make our flight.
What was most disappointing...

"Spacious room with all we needed. No hassle with parking. Reception was unattended both when I dropped our bag off and when I came back to check in. Issues with the TV which kept losing signal and the heat pump didn't heat the room. Concerned about security - the hotel allows people to come in through reception (shared with a restaurant) and go via lift up to the floors without swipe card access. Hotel entrance door is open without swipe access needed until 10:30pm. "
