We chose to stay hear because it was our dream on this backpacking trip to stay in a castle. The castle is beautiful, warm, with the wood fireplace burning. I will say that for a very old property they keep it extremely unkept. It is of older charm, so keep that in mind (older carpets, less electrical ...

Not our normal sort of place to stay but ideal for our circumstances. Lovely facilities and folk staying at the same time. Good self catering shared kitchen though only as we left did we tumble to the fact that Helen had provided some communal consumables in the kitchen - our loss.
