Great location

The room was clean and spacious, easily accessible to the lobby and street. Shops and the bay were only two blocks away. Many restaurants easy walking distance. Minutes from many historic sites.

The Royal Suites - Sky was wonderful. We stayed on the 12th floor with an ocean view and it was beautiful. The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom gorgeous, and the view amazing. But really set this hotel apart was Antonio who checked us in. He was simply THE BEST. After traveling throughout Croatia for 10 days, he was hands down the kindest, most responsive and thoughtful host imaginable. He is the epitome of excellent customer service. We have stayed in a number of 4 and 5 star hotels throughout the world, and we have never met anyone who cared so much about ensuring absolutely everything we could ever want or need was taken care, taken care of perfectly and quickly. His attention to detail and friendly demeaner sets this property apart from any other. We definitely recommend the Royal Suites - Sky, especially if you are doing any sailing excursions from the port. If you are lucky enough to meet Antonio, rest assured your stay will be fabulous.

Our room was modern and clean with amazing views. The check-in experience was different than most I have experienced, as the property is split across two buildings in the neighborhood, however the staff still made the process easy.

We had a late flight, Royal Suites arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport for €45. We arrived at the property after 11pm and they were there to meet us. We were on the 12th floor of a multipurpose apartment block. Stunning views over the city and mountains. The room was modern, clean, it has an iron and board, fridge, coffee machine etc. Aircon was excellent along with blackout curtains as there were a lot of windows. Bathroom was very smart, shower worked well and got hot quickly, was powerful too. The staff were lovely, he spent time marking on a map ice cream places, view points, supermarkets, ferry port. But most helpful were the restaurant recommendations .. 2 mins away was Bakra - yummy steaks and pizza. But the best meal we had was at Sip27 - the best food we had whilst in Croatia and Montenegro - great recommendation. Some reviews are negative about Royal Suite Sky, but we had a great experience - would recommend. There is no one from the hotel in the block, but they are contactable if needed. Security on the door after 11pm. 5 min walk to the edge of the Old Town. Split does get a little noisy in the centre at night, but the room is far enough away not to hear a thing. If we do get to come back, will rebook here and go to Sip27 again.

Our first impression of Croatia was made all the more memorable thanks to our stay at Royal Suites - Sky. From the start, communication was prompt, detailed, and helpful. Knowing that parking in Split can be challenging, Toni went above and beyond: meeting us in front of the hotel, finding street parking, and assisting us with our luggage up to our rooms. We booked two rooms, both of which were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. Each room included a QR code that linked to an incredibly helpful guide with curated restaurant recommendations, sightseeing suggestions, and useful local tips. The hotel’s location is excellent, just a short walk to the ferry terminal and within easy walking distance of major landmarks like St. Domnius Cathedral, the Marjan Hill stairs, and the Split Riva. When we checked out to visit Hvar for two days, we were able to leave our luggage in the rooms, and Antonio handled everything seamlessly. The level of service we received throughout our stay was truly exceptional.

Stunning view of the harbour from our room! Clean and quiet modern apartment with coffee station and fridge. Cute little library! Very short few blocks to the old town. On-site parking just outside the building. A great place to stay in Split!

Great location with great staffs

Great location, walking distance to old town, bus terminal and wharfs. Staffs are incredibly caring and kind. Both Toni and Antonio were amazing helping our 3-day stay comfortable and pleasant.

My stay at the Royal Suites Sky in Split was outstanding from start to finish! Even before we arrived, Toni reached out with a warm courtesy message to confirm our arrival time and help us figure out transportation from the airport. His advice was invaluable, and thanks to his guidance, our room was prepared even earlier than expected. I also had a few questions before arriving (like the weather forecast), and Toni was quick to provide all the information we needed. The room itself was spotless and beautifully arranged, with an incredible view that made every morning a delight. We were pleasantly surprised to find beach towels waiting for us, making it super easy to head to the beach without any hassle. The service from reception truly stood out. We could contact them anytime via call or message, and their responses were almost immediate. Every question was met with thoughtful and thorough answers that made our stay so smooth and enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend the Royal Suites Sky to anyone visiting Split. The attentive service, clean rooms, and thoughtful details made it a memorable stay!
