The staff was very helpful, the parking was convenient, and the room was clean. That's as far as the good things about the hotel went. The place is poorly maintained. A lot of the grout around the bathroom tiles was missing, and that was just the first obvious thing my traveling partner and I noticed. Breakfast the first day was a disaster. There was no milk, there were no scrambled eggs ("it takes 45 minutes to cook more if you want to wait"), and there was no waffle mix in the dispenser. It was marginally better the second day. The hotel looks like it was nice once upon a time, but has not been kept up. Shame, because the location is good.

The staff were friendly. The place could be cleaned better. Our room was dirty, there was dust on the furniture, mirrors had smears on them, and the bathroom shower was not cleaned properly. The room we were given also had a cigarette smell.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Lincoln, IL for the State Fair, and it looked nothing like the pictures online. Our first room smelled damp, had ants, and gnats were flying around the sink. We requested another room, only to find poop stains in the toilet. The elevator was broken our entire stay (8/21–8/23), so we had to carry heavy bags up to the 2nd and 3rd floors. The pool was also out of order, forcing us to go across the street to use another hotel's pool, and the only working ice machine was on the first floor.

We booked it specifically for the pool and when we got there thenpool was doen fof maintenance, they did not update the app to state anything about the pool being down and didnt wven care to accommodate us at all. Terrible customer service

The front desk staff was so sweet, unfortunately the room was crawling with ants: floor, beds, night stand, and walls. The staff arranged another room. More ants. The lobby has various spots with holes in the walls. The 3rd floor hallway had what looked like excessive water damage where the wall met the ceiling. We are in the process of getting a refund as we left the property after viewing the second room. Can't comment on any of the other ammenities as we were not there long enough.

The hotel is quite dated, the pool was closed, and the breakfast wasn't worth getting up for. The lady at the front desk was friendly and helpful, but I wouldn't recommend staying here for more than one night. We were just passing through, so it served its purpose.

The hotel was okay. The pictures looked more pleasant than the actual room. It’s an older hotel, shows a little time, some wear and tear. Parking lot had plenty of open space which was nice for parking Staff were friendly. We did not take time for the breakfast, so I cannot comment on that.

The person who checked us in was very nice. The experience from there went south. The elevator was not working and we had lug stuff up to the third floor. The pool was also closed and out of order. Then to top it off, every one of the ice machines on each floor, out of order. The room had a weird smell, like stale cigarettes when we first walked in. We woke up the next morning to find an ant infestation. They were all over a cup of lemonade we left in the table. We also found a few in our beds. $170 for ants as and everything out of order.

Chose to stay 30 minutes from our venue due to the hotel and amenities advertised. Beautiful pool and hot tub on the site of this location however, after checking in, we discovered there was no operating pool that had not been working 8 months! Also no hot tub as it had been filled in with concrete since 2020! The mattress in our room was very old, warn, lumpy, and uncomfortable! Lemmon water canister in lobby had bugs on the outside of canister. Discovered this the morning we checked out as I attempted to get a glass of water. Prior to the stay, I made a call directly to the location for a quick question and the person that answered was rude. I didn't cast judgment as one person doesn't make the establishment and perhaps they had a bad day? The staff during our stay were fine. Not friendly, just did there job and not rude.

Avoid this hotel. We were unable to arrive until the second night of our four-night reservation, so I called ahead to explain the situation and was assured everything was fine. When we arrived, they told us we’d been marked as a "no-show" and our entire reservation was canceled. ​To make matters worse, they demanded we pay a second time for the exact same room if we wanted to stay that night, despite already holding us liable for two nights of the original booking. The outrageous double-billing attempt made us walk out—and frankly, given the run-down, uncomfortable state of the property when we stepped inside, leaving was a blessing in disguise.

Tears in the carpet, wallpaper looked like a 3 yr old put it up. Stain on the sheet. Lady couldn't even tell me the pool was out of service. Ill never waste my money here again.
