"After driving til almost 3 in the morning with 2 kids and going to the wrong hotel first we walked in and I was so happy with the room and thought I would book with this hotel more often Then we realized the toilet had issues flushing, there is no sound proofing and I got maybe 2 hours sleep as a result. "I do not suggest this hotel. We chose it for the price since the others in the area wanted $300+ (high for a quick stay to break up a drive) and per usual, you get what you pay for. It was dirty, run-down, odd characters hung around the lobby, we turned on the water in the sink and the pipe below burst out water all over the carpet. Look for newer hotels if staying in the Roanoke, VA area. "

"This hotel is old. It doesn't look bad from the outside, but the inside needs a lot of work. There's black mold inside the shower, and we had a handful of ants. The breakfast was just waffles, cereal, yogurt, and bagels. This was a quick trip, and we didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for a hotel in Lynchburg for graduation, so I acknowledge this was a choice, but I would not stay here again, regardless of the cost. "The room was very small, out dated, and overall dirty. Nothing seemed sanitary. The shower floor was heavily stained and had a spider cricket hoping around, the towels were very worn and dingy, the full bed was not comfortable (old mattress), the room was a non smoking room but reeked of smoke. Defiantly seemed to be the result of amateur cleaning. It was so bad that I only stayed one of the two nights that I reserved. Online pictures are very misleading."
