"Everything was great, from the quick and friendly check-in, to the well stocked kitchen, to the great lighting in the bathroom. And everything is so clean! The ocean view was a bonus!! We stayed in room 101 and even though it is right on the highway, it was quiet. The door between the kitchen and living space helped a lot with noise. We will definitely stay here again. There is a great restaurant/pub (Shady’s) a short 10 minute walk down the road."

"In addition to the many comments I could make regarding the property, the room, the facilities (all excellent for the avoidance of doubt), where the Cedar Wood Lodge rises above other similar B&Bs is in the genuine warmth and welcoming of the owners. Felt like visiting old close friends……and I would guess if you wanted your own space and time to yourselves you would find the place equally charming and welcoming. A final word on the breakfast……all home baked goodies, home made jams which would put high end catering facilities to shame. If we had known we would have stayed longer and used as a base for the surrounding area. Can not recommend highly enough."
