When we arrived, we found blood stains on the pillowcases, which immediately raised concerns about cleanliness. Even worse, the main air conditioning was not working. It was over 90°F inside the houseboat, making it nearly impossible to stay inside comfortably. We repeatedly tried to contact the host for assistance, but never received a response. "The property is very convenient and I loved that there were multiple places to access sitting by the water. My room had a sliding glass door to a porch, but the neighbors are literally right next to us smoking, so we couldn’t use it. The pool was nice. I was under the impression that breakfast was included based on what the website said, but we were told that it was not. "The breakfast you prepay for is only pastries or fruit, not worth the extra charge for "breakfast". Adult only pool has lots of bugs in it. We found a baby roach in our bed. They came and sprayed, cleaned our room and gave us a resort fee credit for 1 night. We had to ask for our room to be cleaned twice. Cheaper and more convenient to Uber back and forth. Shuttle drivers are friendly but times are not frequent. Staff and front desk personal are very friendly."

"They did not have a room for me when i arrived. Said there was nothing they could do. I was left stranded and ended up paying twice the price for a worst room which was all I could find."

"We were not told about all the extra fees when we arrived. Breakfast was in a dark room and was awful, construction was being done on the hotel and we didn't get housekeeping for two nights we were there and the hotel shuttle to and from hotel to downtown and back - no driver was interactive or friendly. Worst Marriott experience ever."
