The Montague Rose is on a nice quiet street but within walking distance of the town of St Andrews. Very convenient. We enjoyed our stay.

Lovely inn in walking distance of the Main Street of the town, with restaurants, shops and the water. The inn was purchased in 2020 and is being lovingly and tastefully renovated by the owners, a couple with three young children. Super comfortable bed and linens!

It’s a beautiful historic property. We were greeted on arrival and given great information about the area. It’s a short walk to the Main Street shops and restaurants. Rooms were clean, temperature controls were available and felt very private. We did not get to enjoy the onsite cafe but will look forward to it next trip.

We chose St. Andrews to rest on our way to Prince Edward Island. St. Andrews itself was a great discovery! We enjoyed our full day here… Could’ve been two days or more. Managers at the Montague Rose were very helpful in orienting us as to what to do. Charming B&B!!!

The room I booked was perfect, with jacuzzi and with ocean view. It was very clean and had a very nice smell. Surrounded by trees with singing birds that I really appreciated. It was a great stay.

It's a beautiful property and the pet friendly room we stayed in on the main floor was just renovated. The shower has great water pressure and the bed was so comfortable. There was a big common room, called the Tea Room, where we ate breakfast and were able to work for a couple of hours. It was just a short walk to the water and all the restaurants. The hosts were just lovely and had lots of recommendations for what to do in the area. Everything in the area was very dog friendly. Highly recommend this inn and will be back.

The Montague Rose Inn run by Zainub and Ben Faulkner-Malik is an absolute gem. The house is a gracious and welcoming treasure. Zainub and Ben saw to our every need and treated our two golden retrievers as valued guests. They have a charming cafe on site for breakfast smoothies and snacks. The Inn is two short blocks from Water Street (the main downtown)and you're at the seaside with glorious views, parks, lighthouses, and hikes. The neighborhood is wonderful for walking. Everyone is friendly and helpful. We can't wait to come back. Also the town of St. Andrews is unexpectedly beautiful and charming. One of the best places that we have stayed.
