Room was good - clean and well taken care of. Water could be hotter in showers. Noise level behind rooms was a bit loud. Parking is tricky and at a premium thus the $25 daily charge.

Location Is Key to this hotel it is probably the best location we have stayed at and we go every year. Staff was very nice and friendly and the shower pressure was amazing and water always hott. They do warn you about noise and supply earplugs and the noise is pretty bad. The alley behind hotel has a bar and we could hear word for word all the conversations and drunken drama fight through the back wall where the AC is till after 2am. Everything else is good don’t need to use vehicle at all everything was within walking distance but if you need your quiet sleep this wouldn’t work.

Location, staff and cleanliness could not be beat. Our king room was very nicely appointed with new furnishings and finishes, although very tight with little space to walk around the bed. Everything was so well done, though, that I could not possibly give it less that five stars. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The parking guy was so friendly and spot-on with his job. He had it down pat to make sure everyone had their space and the right size for each vehicle. We had two bikes locked to the back, and he gave us a small truck space he had saved with an orange cone. We could walk to all of the main attractions from here in just minutes. We never had to move our car, once parked. Try to check-in on the earlier side if you want an upstairs (2nd floor) room with a beautiful view of the bayfront. We ended up on the first floor with no view, but appreciated the convenience and everything else about the property. This motel seems very wrongly rated at two stars. It behaves like a four-star.

Our stay was very good, we loved St Agustine and the location is great. Easy access to parking and near restaurants. The only detail… the staff. They were “ok”. The one that help us with the check in in the night was serious and not as welcoming as u expect after a long drive to get there. In the morning I went in to buy something and I asked where we can have a good coffee for breakfast. She reply she doesn’t drink coffee that I may try here and there. Not bad, but I expect a bit more of service, considering the rate we paid.

Excellent location. The property is older but well maintained and the staff was very accommodating. Our only complaint was that it was difficult regulating the Ac/heater in the room.

Location was amazing! Staff at check in were incredibly inhospitable, rude and never made eye contact. When we checked in we had not requested any specific amenities or rooms, and the front desk woman said "all I have is a second floor, is that okay?" in a very rude manner as if I was in there in a wheelchair and she was going to force the issue. We heard our neighbors having sex through the air conditioning. Come here for the location, not the service or any peace and quiet. The shower door opens so that you're forced to stand in there in order to get the water to the right temperature, which was not pleasant. The bed was comfortable but elevated so thst you had to hoist in, so if you have any mobility issues and you can't climb into a bed I would not recommend staying here. The parking doesn't seem to be guaranteed, was very structured and made us feel that had we wanted to drive our car anywhere, we would not be able to park upon return. $25 per day fee. My phone fell on the floor underneath the bedside table and was filthy when I picked it up. There was also scuff marks all over the floor, leading me to believe that (I did not see a mop or broom or Swiffer on the maid cart) these floors are not being cleaned.

Room was clean. Hotel is right in the middle of everything so a very good location. It’s an old hotel but they’ve updated the rooms. The linens could use updating though. The sheets were thread barren and had holes in them.
