I feel the same every time I visit including my most recent visit in August 2025, which included a fabulous Greek feast. "

"Great location. 3 mins from a great beach and near 2 places within walking distance to eat in the evening. A great room with everything you need for a few days away. Staff at the hotel were really accomodating washed and dried our towels and tshirts as we had been on the beach. Beach wraps available to use and a parking permit for the beach so it was free to park. Breakfast was huge and could be afapted as you liked it. "Beautiful, comfortable boutique hotel stay with exceptional staff. Marie was wonderful, acquainted us with the history of the Castle and the wonderful hotel amenities. She even assisted us with extending our stay. Can’t wait to return for a summer visit! 5 star and a highlight of our South Wales adventure!"

"We had an excellent stay here, perfect location to walk into Saint David’s and the rooms were spotless. Great service from the staff. We tried the veggie and the Vegan breakfast for a change and was not disappointed especially the vegetable sausages! Parking is easy too with no access issues. "

"Had a lovely welcome by the family on arrival. Shown to our room which was beautiful, a real room with a view. Sunday lunch was absolutely amazing. Full of flavour and lots of it. Slept like a log, followed by a lovely freshly cooked breakfast. Will definitely be returning very soon "

"The Grange is a lovely place to stay. It is close to town and very quiet. The beach is very close and a perfect place to watch sunsets. Communication with the host was excellent. "

"This is most definitely not my first stay at The Mariner's. I go there because i genuinely love staying there. Nice sized rooms with good bathrooms. Comfortable, warm and quiet. The hotel itself oozes charm and is central to the town itself. Excellent parking too."

"The service was great, though my suggestion is that it is difficult to pair with an extended stay when you booked a short stay. The long-stay owners were extremely loud on the last day. Overall, a three-star from me, just because the service was good."
