"We had a wonderful stay at the Maritim Hotel Köln and would happily stay here again.
The room was spotless when we arrived, and we really appreciated having reliable air conditioning during some warm July days. The hotel is in an excellent location, it is an easy walk to Cologne Cathedral, the Old Town, the Rhine, and plenty of great restaurants and shops. We were able to explore most of the city centre on foot, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and everyone we interacted with made us feel welcome.
If I had to find one small criticism, it would be that the elevators could be a little slow during busy times, but it was a very minor inconvenience and didn’t take away from an otherwise excellent experience.
Overall, this is a clean, comfortable, well located hotel with outstanding staff, and we’d recommend it to anyone visiting Cologne."
