"The lobby, food area, bar, along with the hallways and room were exceptionally clean and well maintained ! The staff was courteous and responsive to any questions or needs. It had been awhile since our stay at BW but we will certainly return in the near future. We have family and upcoming events in Leland and we will be recommending BW to our families and friends attending and visiting. The prices were also very competitive and very reasonable! We enjoyed the stay very much !"

"The hotel was nice, but not up to the expected standards. There was only one elevator working, the breakfast was fair, the pillows were miniature, and the A/C was noisy. Theses are minor, I know, but somewhat agravating. The guest, (which was not your fault, were slaming doors until 2AM."

"Breakfast was extremely sparse compared to experiences we’ve had at other HIE locations in the past. When we arrived, there wasn’t enough bedding or towels in our room for our party and we were told they didn’t have anymore. Very clean, beds were comfortable, good location, good value."

"I enjoyed my stay there and having a bed in separate rooms, but the A/C unit by the front door was very noisy when the compressor would click on."

"The property is next door to their restaurant. Not enough parking for both so if you leave for dinner don’t expect to come back to a parking space at the hotel as restaurant patrons park in the hotel spots even though it is clearly marked for hotels guests. Hotel wouldn’t do anything about it."

"The Sand Dunes is always a winner in my book. Clean rooms, clean pool, great view, awesome staff! Reasonably priced as well. We love staying there."

"I expected a little better view of the water since it was so close to the river. We appreciated the Keurig coffee maker with pods since we weren't planning to buy food supplies. They gave very good suggestions about places to eat. The room was very nice with a comfortable bed. We would stay there again."
