"If you have ever been to Cancun, and loved the service from the staff. Don't go to Grenada. The island itself is a sorry crumbling infrastructure I would expect in a much poorer country. Coyaba Beach resort gets 2 stars..one for the best beach I have ever walked on, and 2 for the best ocean swim I've ever had. The stuff they had nothing to do with ! "This is a low cost property, but for the low price, it's very good. It's clean and tidy, but certainly not salubrious. It's not particularly conveniently placed relative to the town, but it's on a major bus route--the (very frequent) number 1 route that goes right to the central bus station. There's not much nearby except for a couple of small stores, and the airport is just under a mile away, down a steep hill. That was a good thing for me as I had to walk there. There was a mixup when I asked...
