Everything was wonderful.. only needed more shade at the pool in the afternoon. Hard to get out of the sun in the afternoon

It was surprisingly a great location for vacation. The staff were kind and courteous and the property well maintained and beautiful. Sunsets were amazing. The pool was amazing overall I will return strongly consider this location on my next location.

This was our second time staying at Gallows Point. We wouldn't choose another place. It’s convenient to everything. Such a beautiful resort.

We had a second story overlooking Cruz bay but we could also see the sunset! Perfect location also to walk down to restaurants/bars. I would definitely stay here again!

The staff was excellent. The property is within walking distance of many bars and restaurants. Would definitely recommend this and stay again in the future.

Gallows Point was in a great location to Cruz Bay. There was transportation from the resort to and from the ferry and the concierge - Ojhany - was the best. He was incredibly helpful and so kind! The rooms were spacious and had a full kitchen (no oven). We had everything we needed! The only thing to know is that there isnt beach access form the resort. I highly recommend renting a car from the resort and traveling to beaches all over the island.

This property has an amazing spot on the island. The staff was incredible. They have lots of towels and also offer turn down service every day if you want it. Make sure you always leave your housekeeper a tip on your pillow! The parking attendant was awesome. The staff at the restaurant was very nice and helpful in the Front Desk ladies were great! Everything was very clean in the sunsets were 10 out of 10! Just watch where you’re stepping at night that’s when you will see hundreds of hermit crabs of all different sizes all over the property! It was so awesome! Highly recommend this place!

We enjoyed many happy hour sunsets from our private balcony watching ferries and sailboats as they came and went from the harbor, then walked the short 2 block walk to the wharf area for our choice of fine restaurants, bars, live music, cruz bay nightlife or shopping. Perfect location for our 5-night vacation.

Gallows Point is the best place to stay on St John. The property is a little aged but is fine. The restaurant was excellent but somewhat overpriced.

Great location with lovely view over the bay and short walk to town, restaurants, taxis to beaches, etc. Spacious room. Good swimming and snorkeling off their platform (can rent equipment from their shop) as well as nice pool with decks overlooking the bay.

After a 5-day stay over on St. Thomas for my wife and I's honeymoon, we continued on to St. John and Gallows Point. As if our honeymoon couldn't get any better: enter the Gallows Point resort. Check in was incredibly easy, the property was immaculate (there was some construction on some of the residences occurring during our stay, but we didn't notice and were not disturbed at all by any of it), and our specific second story villa overlooking the bay was a sight to see every morning and night. Staff was incredibly friendly, our room was made up, dishes done for us, and bed made every single day of our stay--it was if we moved into a brand new room when we got home after galivanting around St. John every day. The location has to be one of the best on the island, easy walkable access to everything in Cruz Bay, easy release points to the roads that head into the national park and all the beaches around the island. The 362 Restaurant on property was a great spot to grab a high end dinner and obviously was very convenient to get to. The Gallows Point property also has a market where you could by groceries, alcohol and merch at reasonable prices--super convenient! It was awesome to see cats, plenty of hermit crabs, and best of all the peacocks roaming the property day and night. Gallows Point made everything very easy for my wife and me and I would highly, highly recommend staying here whilst on St. John.
