"All was really excellent apart this hotel do not have air conditioning. When we come into room like we are in sauna. Nice staff gave us fans, but to hot."

"The room was clean but a bit tired. The furniture is old and a bit well worn. We booked a room with a sea view (executive deluxe) and paid extra for this, but the windows were very dirty and the only view was through the small opening of the windows!! Hardly a proper sea view! The bathroom was clean and spacious but the bath with shower over lacked grabrails and extreme care had to be taken when entering and leaving the shower especially with a wet floor. This could be very dangerous for someone with mobility issues. The breakfast on the first day of our 2 day stay was average. The bacon on the full English was so small it was not worth having and the food was rather over-cooked and had clearly been hanging around. The food on the second day was excellent with no issues."

"Great location near the station, comfortable room and delicious cooked breakfast that also offered fresh fruit. Airy lounge and private garden behind. Staff were very helpful. Many thanks!"

"Just returned from a three night stay, everything was as great as it could be, helpful friendly people, nothing was too much trouble. Our only criticism is their sister hotel could do with some staff training, service was as good as being at fawlty towers. However idle rocks was perfect !!"
