Top St Leonards-On-Sea Hotel Reviews
Best Western York House Hotel
8/10 Good
"The room was spacious and extremely clean. The beds were comfortable.Breakfast was excellent, room service for dinner was extremely poor- the food that is.Most of the staff were really friendly. It would have been better if there had been a balcony in the room. Overall very pleased with our stay."
The View Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"As always I enjoyed my stay. The room (201) was exceptional. My only comment is that the shower needs a grab handle as the large step in made it difficult. Otherwise excellent as was the room service. Very good breakfast but disappointing to find the bar closed early on Thursday. Wouldn't look anywhere else for my trips to Eastbourne."
The Grand Hotel Eastbourne
10/10 Excellent
"Breakfast was excellent, as was dinner each night. In fact everything was faultless. All the staff were polite, friendly & helpful. We shall return!"
OYO Eagle House Hotel, St Leonards Hastings
10/10 Excellent
"close to the beach, a 10-15 minute walk, and good car parking"
Tower House 1066
10/10 Excellent
"Cost was the best thing about it. I paid under £60 in mid July, Friday before Pirate weekend. Excellent value. Had the option of no breakfast (that would have been extra), which was also good for me. House had so much period charm and people running it were really lovely and friendly. Temperature was too hot for me (they do not have air-con), so my sleep was not the best, but not their fault. No additional toiletries, apart from hair dryer and towels (& toilet roll) you need to bring your own. Also not a negative. I expect that at that cost. Definitely suggest it as great value for money, short walk to St Leonard's rail station. Would recommend to anyone on a budget, like me. XxxxX"
The Highlands Inn
10/10 Excellent
"It's true, this property is an older one but that's the reason we booked it, historical. There are on lifts, no air con but the location, the staff and the view from the top room were amazing. Shannon, Roy - the entire team was helpful and approachable. We stayed on two separate occasions in the same vacation and will be back again for sure. Bathrooms were clean and water pressure amazing for an old building. The new renovations for the top floor room was incredible - 360 degree views."
Grand Hastings
8/10 Good
"Do your research before you go, so you are ready for it, but once you do, you may actually enjoy it a lot. The hotel is very basic, super simple and outdated rooms with simple bathrooms (a bar of soap, no shower gel, nice white towels, good power shower), some stairs to climb. I got a small room with no sea view. The hotel is run by a lovely gentleman, very old style, with the handwritten check-in book rather than the computer. During this process he may tell you some stories. It has added so much character to our stay. We were standing at the reception desk for at least 20 minutes chatting. I chose this place for the location and availability on my date. I was worried after reading some reviews, but I wouldn't mind staying again."
