Glad I read the fine print before hitting send. Very slick Expedia. This hotel was fabulous. My check-in experience was horrible due to Expedia! Expedia hadn't sent my reservations to the hotel even though they had already CHARGED ME! We ended up having to wait for around an hour or so while the head hostess did her best to work this out. I could hear she was having trouble with the people with Expedia. Several Expedia representatives transferred her again and again, all while my exhausted 4 young children cried and acted silly in the lobby. The hotel's staff was amazing, and helped me entertain and even feed my children as we were forced to wait. This hotel has hired the most wonderful and accommodating staff that I have ever experienced in a hotel. This experience would have been much worse if it wasn't for the kind staff. At one point, the person from Expedia said they would send us to a different location in the area. I said no, we needed this exact hotel for our vacation plans. The hoastess assured us she wouldn't let that happen. FINALLY, Expedia sent over our booking. We got our room, only to find that instead of the double queen room I booked, we had a single king suit. Now I'm worried how much Expedia charged me, and all 5 of us had to sleep in one bed. Not the best night, but at least we had a clean and beautiful room. Homewood Suits, you get 5 stars! Expedia, I wouldn't reccomend you to my worst enemy!
