The rooms were musty smelling, the carpets damp and stained. The restaurant werent open Momday through Wednesday. The staff was excellent and very helpful.

Dirty, worn, smelly, but great location for Amtrak

Strong cigarette smell in room and general “worn” appearance of everything, plus lack of cleanliness made for a disappointing experience. Location close to the Amtrak station was the only redeeming factor.

2nd stay

This is our second time staying at this hotel. This is an older hotel but it is one of the most inexpensive. Hotel is in a great location for going to a ball game. Rooms are big, bed slept well and seemed safe. None of the ice machines work in the building or at least none that we found. Carpets need to be cleaned. Overall, I would stay here again.

Our room smelled like smoke, even though the floor was a non-smoking floor. The couch wasn’t comfortable but the beds were fine. Chose this hotel for the convenience and location.

The lobby and hallways were very nice, customer service at front desk was really nice. Rooms condition was very nasty. Hair clumps in the bathroom, poop smears in the toilet, stains all over the carpet in the room and a horrible mildew smell. Was not pleased at all with our stay.

It’s definitely very dated and hasn’t been unkept at all. It has potential to be a really nice hotel if they maintain it and update it. Only real complaint we had was that our deadbolt lock didn’t lock at all. We also could’ve visible see the light all around the edge of the door from the hallway.
