"The hotel was lovely. Loved the aesthetic, the design and the location. Staff were nice and friendly - went out of their way to help with everything we need. Breakfast was also vast and a lot of options. Just make sure you get there before 10am. Lastly the amazing view outside. So peaceful and so clear. This is a nice place to go if you want a bit of peace and quiet. Which is exactly what we needed."

"Caution. We booked this location due to proximity to the ferries but on a busy weekend the authorities will not allow a left turn at the bottom of Maison Dieu road. You will be sent out of town and 3 roundabouts later able to come back. A 10 minute drive becomes 2.5 hours. The room was okay. Tired. The person that opened the front door did not introduce themselves and or say welcome. The first thing they said was “you should have received an email with check-in information.” It turns out I did...

"Howfield Manor is a really lovely hotel. Quite a unique venue. The staff were so helpful. This is my second time at the hotel yesterday was for sisters Celebration of Life. We were in the marque which was beautifully laid out, the food was extremely good and the staff were very helpful. We had a lovely room which was very clean and we had a superb view of the gardens. Highly recommended."
