"My adult children and I had a magnificent four day stay here. Each room is unique, charming, and very comfortable and clean. The restaurant is impeccable and staff very friendly. There are some beautiful walking trails around the property and it is so quiet and peaceful. There is also a lovely gift shop filled with authentic and high quality items. The only thing we had issues with is the WiFi, which was very spotty in our room, but otherwise, we highly recommend it! Would definitely return."

"This is a charming and pleasant inn. It is clean and well maintained. We however found the bed mattresses to be saggy and lumpy. It’s important to know that the church clock across the road does ring out every quarter hour and the hour on the hour. Found the breakfast to be basic but good with some excellent bread and rolls. "Great spot in valley above Schluchsee. Modern clean rooms. Breakfast was tasty for a continental spread. Dinner options were excellebt. Staff great, informative and kind. Would return!"
